Arenas can only hold so many people.

That simple fact, however, won’t stop legions of Irish MMA fans scrambling to get their hands on tickets to the biggest money fight in combat sports, ever.

Mayweather vs. McGregor is committed to getting tickets in the hands of fans, not scalpers or bots, so they’re collaborating with Ticketmaster to sell tickets for the event through the #VerifiedFan platform – a unique fan-first technology that levels the playing field so fans get access to tickets, not software.

You do need to have a Ticketmaster account already, and if you do, you can register for access at this address in order to get a special code for ticket sales.

It won’t guarantee you get to actually the the code, or the chance to buy tickets, but it might make the process one bit easier. Registration closes 10pm PST this Thursday, or 6am GMT this Friday.

The meeting of Floyd Mayweather Jr (49-0, 26 KOs) and Conor McGregor (21-3 MMA, 18 KOs) takes place at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, on Saturday 26 August. Tickets go on general sale this coming Monday.
