Jude Samuel departs BAMMA as match-maker after 9 years

BAMMA head match-maker Jude Samuel has parted ways with the UK promotion after 9 years.

One of the long-standing components of BAMMA, matchmaker Jude Samuel, has parted ways with the promotion.

An early morning tweet over the weekend proposed the news.

The news was confirmed by Samuel himself on Saturday.

“Yes I’ve resigned from BAMMA and to thank you all for being part of my career. You’ve all been import to my journey and I hope that I was able to have a positive influence. Thank you all for all your help over the last 9 years”, reads Samuel’s tweet from Saturday evening.

Samuel, BAMMA’s head match-maker, took up the role of VP of Talent Relations in September 2009, according to LinkedIn.com.

A decorated BJJ black belt since 2005, Samuel also heads up central London’s Inglorious Grapplers.
