Frans Mlambmo and Aidan James were both part of Brave Combat Federation’s Irish debut.

That June night Belfast’s SSE Arena proved successful for James, not so for Mlambo who was chasing bantamweight gold.

Now both fighters will meet in Pakistan at Brave 17 on 27 October.

At 23 years of age, James (2-0) is undefeated with two wins in his professional career and both the wins coming by way of TKO. His defeat of Tommy Martin in Belfast also earned him a performance bonus on the night.

Mlambo (5-3) is looking to bounce back from defeat that night.

He went the distance with Stephen Loman in Belfast but was out wrestled over the majority of the rounds, despite starting brightly.

He’s been with Brave since their beginning 2 years ago, his only defeats in the promotion both coming at the hands of Loman.

A win against James at the end of the month would go a long way towards another shot the bantamweight strap.
