The countdown to November can start now.
The first of BAMMA 32’s fights have been made official, the organisation returning to Dublin’s 3 Arena on November 10 alongside Bellator 186 for another massive night for mixed martial arts in Ireland.
Coming off a fight of the night performance and majority draw result against Rhys ‘Skeletor’ McKee at BAMMA 30 in July, SBG’s Richie Smullen (3-0-1) will get a crack at the Londsdale Lightweight title against Tim Barnett (5-0). Barnett was a late replacement for BAMMA 28 earlier in the year, taking the title from McKee before making light work of Mario Saeed in his first defence at BAMMA 29.
Smullen’s bout against McKee was the first time in his four professional fights to date that he’d gone the distance and more than showed he’s ready and able for it. But with Barnett unbeaten in five and looking incredibly fresh in his last two bouts, he’ll have a task on his hands if he’s ensure the title doesn’t leave Dublin post-fight.
Also confirmed for the card as of Tuesday afternoon is the Flyweight title decided between interim champion Andy ‘Taz’ Young and Lonsdale title holder Daniel Barez.
BAMMA Dublin takes place at The 3Arena, Dublin on Friday 10th November and tickets are on sale now from http://bit.ly/BAMMA32
