We now know where Brave Combat Federation’s 14th major event will be.
The news was announced officially on Monday’s edition of Brave News via the Brave YouTube channel. Speculation had been swirling of a possible event in Spain, with South Africa and the Philippines also suggested. Along with Brazil, there’s still a possibility of events heading to those locations before 2018 is out.
This marks for the first time in the history of martial arts a global promotion is hosting an event on the continent of Africa. This will also be the first major sporting event for Morocco following the country’s unsuccessful bid to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup. That honour goes to a joint bid between Canada, Mexico and United States.
Brave Combat Federation President Mohammed Shahid announced the details.
“I’m super thrilled to announced that we will be entering the continent of Africa on August 18th. Our first event in the continent of Africa is going to be Morocco”, said Shahid in the clip posted on Monday.
Brave 14 will be hosted under the patronage of His Majesty the King Mohammed VI. The promotion’s outing in Morocco is the first of another seven events scheduled for the latter half of 2018, including Brave Combat Week in Bahrain in November.
Fight card and ticket information will be published in the next few weeks.
