Charlie-boy Howard to make his pro debut at BAMMA 31 this September

The much anticipated pro MMA debut of Charlie-boy Howard is booked for BAMMA 31 against David Khalsa.

David Khalsa v Charlie Howard

It’s debut time.

With a 13-3 amateur record, the stage is set for Charlie-boy Howard to make his pro MMA debut at BAMMA 31 this September in London’s SSE Arena.

His opponent, David Khalsa (1-0), who dispatched SBG’s Cian Cowley at BAMMA 29: McDermott Vs Wolf in May of this year. Here’s how that victory went down.

“This is the beginning for me”, says Howard.

“The Unruly one finally arrives in BAMMA and with the CBH Army with me, Mr. Khalsa isn’t going to have a clue what’s hit him until he wakes up backstage after I have finished him. I can’t wait to get in there. I’m ready to go now.”

A BJJ purple belt with a well-worked ground and submission game, coupled with strong striking, Howard will be no pushover for Khalsa who reckons “there’s gonna be fireworks” when the pair meet this autumn.

Howard had been booked for a pro fight at UCMMA 44 in September 2015 but the bout was cancelled. He has fought three times in 2016, dropping two of those bouts by decision.
