Cage Warriors Academy Ireland have announced a 4-man tournament for their bantamweight title, starting this September.

Cage Warriors Academy Ireland is heading to Belfast – and now we’ve got some new details.

The promotion this morning announced a four man tournament in the 61kg division (bantamweight / 135lbs). This morning’s announcement also revealed a second show planned for Belfast this November.

There will be two semi-final bouts on the 8 September card featuring Richie Stack (4-1, amateur) and Team Ryano prospect Patrick Symes (3-0, amateur) in the first, with Glenn McVeigh (4-3, amateur) and Ciaran Breslin (3-5, amateur) in the second semi-final. The winners of each bout will be booked for the Cage Warriors Academy Ireland show in Belfast in November.

There’s a full night of MMA on the cards for Saturday 8 September at the Devenish Complex, Finaghy Road, North Belfast. Doors are set for 5pm with the night’s first fight slated for 6pm.

Tickets are available online now from, with general tickets priced €28 and cage-side tickets (including finger food and bar service) priced €38.
