Cage Warriors 98 is Birmingham bound this October.
The UK-based promotion is show no signs of slowing down into the latter half of 2018. Having staged five events already this year, and a further four announced, it’s a busy time for Cage Warriors.
Birmingham’s Genting Arena will be the venue as the promotion edges towards its 100th event later this year.
Former Cage Warriors welterweight turned UFC star Tom Breese is just one of the Birmingham names that have risen to the spotlight in recent years. Leon Edwards too hails from the West Midlands, helping to put Birmingham firmly on the MMA map in Europe.
It is eight years since Cage Warriors took to Birmingham, then staging two massive world title fights, and featuring a number of future UFC stars such as Jim Wallhead, Pascal Krauss and Tom Breese.
It’s now time for the next generation of stars to emerge.
“We’re always on the hunt for the next breakout UK stars, and October 20th will be no different”, says Cage Warriors President Graham Boylan.
“We’ve given fighters from all over Europe the chance to showcase their skills in their hometown. We’re excited to now give that opportunity in Birmingham, an exciting city for the promotion and for the sport.”
Tickets go on sale this Friday morning from usual outlets.
