Brave 15, Brave Combat Federation’s first trip to Colombia, South America, will take place on Saturday 7 September.

Brave 15: Colombia, 7 September

Things really are ramping up for Brave Combat Federation as Brave 15 heads to Colombia next month.

This will be the first trip to the South American country for the Bahrain-based promotion.

In the past week, Brave held their ‘Global Expansion’ press conference, outlining 8 shows for the remainder of 2018 starting with Brave 14 in Morocco next weekend.

Marking the first trip to Colombia, Brave 15 throws down on 7 September at the 8,000 seater Coliseo Bicentenario, Bucaramanga.

Brave’s last stop in South America was a trip to to the Mineirao Stadium for Brave 11: Santiago v Martins this past April.

With good relations in Brazil and their three previous outings in South America proving a commercial success, the trip to Colombia marks new territory as Brave look to continue their push through the southern continent.

Brave 15 Colombia: What We Know

With less than a month to go, we do know this.

Former UFC veteran Godofredo ‘Pepey’ Castro (13-6) is booked for the main event, taking on Colombia’s own Alexander ‘Rolo’ Torres at 145lbs.

The public weigh-ins will be held on 6 September, ahead of fight night.

As with Brave 14, you’ll now be able to watch full coverage on FloCombat and Fite TV along with Combate, StarSat and Abu Dhabi Sports.

An active abundance of talent

“Colombia had showcased steady growth and an active abundance of talent who are reaching out to global platforms for events and exposure”, said Mohammed Shahid, President of Brave Combat Federation on announcing the Colombian trip.

“At this juncture it is ideal that we reach out to the region to empower and nurture the growth of the sport.”

“The presence of Brave Combat Federation will be a game-changer for the nation. We can connect the combined synergies of Brazil and Colombia to amplify the growth potential in the region and reach out to the world utilising the continuously growing platform of Brave Combat Federation.”

Ambitious times indeed.
