Bruno Malfacine – dangerous on the mats, dangerous in the cage.
The ten-time IBJJF World Champion, Malfacine is stepping back into the cage as the latest name announced for Brave 16 as the promotion gets set to head back to Abu Dhabi.
On top of their pending Morocco show next weekend, the promotion announced earlier this week they will have a further seven outings in 2018.
Brave 16 heads for the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi on Saturday 21 September.
The return of Bruno Malfacine
The decorated jiu-jitsu player crossed into the pro MMA ranks this time last year, picking up a first round armbar win over fellow newcomer Ramarios Boaes. He followed that up with a win on his Brave debut this past April , again collecting a first round armbar win, this time over Rafael Pereira (5-2).
Malfacine is working up his MMA game at ATT / American Top Team, based out of Coconut Creek, Florida.
When he steps back into the cage for his third pro bout this September, he’ll be back in flyweight division alongside the likes of Sean Santella, Velimurad Alkhasov and IMMAF medalist, Hussain Ayyad.
“Happy and excited to return to this incredible country, now inside the octagon,” said Malfacine through social media this week.
“I’ll do my best to give the whole Jiu-jitsu community and the crowd with a great show. See you soon!”
